Captain Goodwin, a longtime member of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, has announced his retirement. He has served the community for over 27 years and has become a respected leader in law enforcement. During his tenure, Captain Goodwin has been a mentor to many and has played an important role in developing new talent within the agency. Captain Goodwin's retirement has been met with sadness by his colleagues, however, they are also grateful for his many years of service and wish him all the best in his retirement.
