First, we'll explore why this technique is important, and then we'll work through a step-by-step progression to recognize the opening, closing, and body position during the stop. Within each drill, you'll also find common mistakes, corrections, and some important points to keep in mind before increasing your speed. If you are already familiar with the setup, simply set up the line as we have been doing in the other videos. ▶ How to organize your practice space: • Como elegir el espacio para hacer tu pract... Once your space is ready, work as follows: 1. Start at one end of the line. 2. Perform the exercise in only one direction. 3. After completing the line, skate back calmly. 4. Repeat until you have completed four passes of the same exercise. One pass is equivalent to skating around the entire line of cones once while performing the exercise. When you complete the four passes: ✔ Rest for a few moments. ✔ Adjust the placement of the cones for the next exercise. ✔ Perform another four passes. Do not repeat the same exercise too many times in a row. When your muscles begin to fatigue, your posture and movement will suffer. At that point, instead of continuing to learn, you may start repeating the mistakes caused by fatigue.
