The authorities are especially preparing for the State Duma elections, as United Russia's ratings are at an all-time low. Vladimir Putin is promising one-time payments to various groups, the Central Election Commission is denying opposition candidates registration, and is introducing three-day and electronic voting. All of this is being done with one goal in mind: to bribe voters and rig the elections. We took to the streets of Moscow and asked residents whether they would go to the polls, what their opinion of the ruling party's ratings was, whether the 7th State Duma had fulfilled its responsibilities, and whether the new social payments ordered by Putin are connected to the upcoming elections.
