Wild Camping by a Mountain River | Basha & Bivvy
Wild camping by a mountain river using a British Army basha and a Dutch Army hooped bivvy. A simple solo wild camp beside the river with no fire, just a quiet night out in the forest. On this trip I kept things minimal. I used a BCB stove with FireDragon fuel for cooking instead of a campfire. The shelter setup is a low basha paired with a rare Dutch Army hooped bivvy made by Carinthia, which works perfectly for a compact river camp. For food I had a Firepot freeze-dried meal for tea and Ten Meals for breakfast the next morning. 🌲 Camp UK: Forests and Fells (Facebook Group) / 📸 Instagram – The Cheshire Wanderer / the_cheshire_wanderer 🪵 TikTok – @thecheshirewanderer / thecheshirewanderer #wildcamping #solowildcamping #britisharmybasha #rivercamping #thecheshirewanderer
