Sales in the D segment are gradually declining, as people prefer family minivans, crossovers, and increasingly big compact cars. Hence Renault decided to target the more refined buyer looking for a true executive car, rather than just a big family car. Thanks to 4Control Talisman is very maneuverable at low speeds, and stable at high speeds. This is a 4-wheel steering system, which you get among others on some Porsches. At low speeds Renault's rear wheels turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels, giving you tighter turning. And at high speeds all wheels turn in the same direction, so Talisman goes better through fast corners.
