At our first TEDxMtHood Salon, Terra Heilman (also known as The Reuser) discusses the importance of reuse, waste prevention, and waste reduction. She explains why recycling isn't solving our environmental troubles, and what actions we can take to actually make a significant impact. Terra Heilman is a dynamic and engaging speaker who uses humor and wisdom to bring messages of "guilt-free green" to her audiences. She challenges us to live just a tiny bit lighter on the planet by changing one behavior at a time. After working in environmental education for more than fifteen years, Terra has a message for all of us: doing the right thing by the planet doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be sacrifice.
