I've been wanting to color my hair with henna ever since I tried it a year ago on my buzzcut and I've finally had the opportunity to do it again! Colors used: khadi Beauty 'Henna' + 'Copper' Full packets mixed with 355ml water at 80C/176F and applied immediately. Henna pigments work with specific temperatures so it's important this is the temperature all throughout the application. I started with a detox shampoo and mask to prep my hair before dyeing and then applied the dye on wet hair. Both the detox mask and henna products will leave the hair feeling rough but this is normal and will disappear once the hair is washed and dried. The henna will darken with time, so the first rinse is not how the hair will end up looking. Nonetheless the end look is a stunningly warm color, perfect for the winter season, with now chemical, PPDs or ammonia. Want to shop your own Stellarii brush?
