A cheese board is a wonderful way to end a meal. You know the last experience lingers longest, so choosing the right cheese is crucial. With these ten cheeses, you can serve your guests a unique selection from many corners of Europe. Remove the cheeses from the refrigerator at least thirty minutes before serving to bring them to room temperature. A cheese that's too cold can mask the flavor. To allow all the flavors to fully develop, it's wise to start with the mildest cheese and end with the strongest (see numbers 1 through 10). This prevents the flavors of the stronger cheeses from becoming overpowering.
