Kindberg erinnert: Neue Gedenktafeln würdigen Opfer von Krieg und Verfolgung

Kindberg is taking a visible stand against forgetting. To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, the town unveiled new memorial plaques that not only commemorate the fate of the 138 people requiring care from the former infirmary, but also pay tribute to all victims of both world wars. What remained hidden in the archives for years or faded from public consciousness is now being brought to light, restoring the victims' names and their dignity. We visited the memorial site and spoke with those involved about the historical significance of this project.
