Motorcrosser Sem de Lange: mét gekneusde knie elfde

MOTOCROSS - Sem de Lange (13) finished eleventh today in the 85cc class during the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Emmen. A decent performance considering the 13-year-old rider from Weiteveen was riding with a severely bruised knee. During this morning's free practice, he was knocked off his bike and limped across the paddock. De Lange, who is making his debut in the 85cc class this year, finished seventh in the first heat after a holeshot. That was his best performance of the season so far. In the second heat, he entered the first corner in fifth place and finished thirteenth. Jeffrey Herlings wins both MX1 heats Afterwards, three-time world champion Jeffrey Herlings stopped by to offer De Lange some words of comfort. The Brabant native won both races in the MX1 class today. 12-year-old Jarno Bos from Klazienaveen finished in 21st place in the 85cc class.
