I Finally Restarted My Seacraft Restoration

This Seacraft restoration has been sitting for a while—but the project is officially back on. In this video, I’m finally restarting my Seacraft build by refoaming and glassing the stringers. These stringers were previously emptied and cleaned out, and this step locks in the foundation of the boat before moving on to the transom. It’s one of the least glamorous parts of a restoration, but it’s also one of the most important. I’ll walk through the foam pour process, why it matters for structural integrity, how I prep the stringers, and how I glass everything back in the right way. No shortcuts—this step has to be done correctly if the rest of the build is going to last. Now that the stringers are set, the next major phase of this restoration is the transom, and that’s coming up next in the series.
