In Fanteakwa North (Begoro), tomato farmers are facing a serious crisis. Despite having an abundance of fresh tomatoes, there are no buyers, leading to very low prices and huge losses. Many traders are now traveling to Burkina Faso to purchase tomatoes instead, leaving local farmers struggling to sell their produce. Some farmers are even forced to throw away tomatoes due to poor pricing. In this video, we show the real situation on the ground—farmers bargaining, frustration, and the impact on livelihoods.
