It's Saturday, and we're going to the Fuengirola flea market first to see if we can buy anything, and then we'll set up a flea market to sell. The Fuengirola flea market is possibly the quintessential flea market on the Costa del Sol, an attractive mix of used objects of all kinds, of all values, and all prices. It was founded in 1994 by foreign residents who loved European flea markets. It's also one of the largest flea markets in all of Spain, with more than 350 stalls. It's held twice a week, although it's the Saturday opening that showcases secondhand, vintage, and occasional antique items. This market is usually busiest on Saturdays, so it's recommended to wake up early and prepare to spend the whole day browsing among the thousands of items on display. The Fuengirola flea market's offerings are extraordinary. There are vinyl record collections, plants, old and secondhand books, antique mirrors, paintings, table decorations, crockery, lamps, vintage clothing, old cameras, retro toys, enameled badges, jugs, ceramics, tableware, stuffed animals, military helmets, local crafts, and much more. Local products are on display, but some vendors also come from North Africa to showcase their more exotic wares. Fuengirola's Rastro has it all, and a little more.
