Recreating the Deckards Dream / Yamaha CS80 Sound | Thomann
Today we are exploring the essence of the legendary Yamaha CS80 & Deckards Dream sound. We'll have a look at how to reproduce the sound with the Native Instruments Super 8 Vst and with the Prophet Rev 2, but if you understand the basic ideas in this video you should be able to reproduce the sound with any VST or Hardware synth that is polyphonic and allows you to stack two layers of saw & square waves being effected by pulsewidth modulation.
