Crompton Greaves Ltd. Aura Ceiling Fan

Crompton Greaves Ltd. Aura 48” ceiling fan in brown, shown on an Anchor Roma 4 speed wall control. I used to have two of these until a couple years ago when I got rid of the other one I had. The speed range is fine on this one, once again I would take a slower low speed but this is definitely far from being the worst one I’ve ever seen. This is an earlier aura, labelled Crompton Greaves Ltd. or what some people call “G logo”. It’s in a fair condition with a couple cosmetic imperfections - scratches on the finish and the decos and the few marks and scuffs on the deco ring just to name a few. Again, operationally this fan is immaculate - literally. It runs very well and packs great power. The motor is still on its original capacitor and even more than a decade later, still runs to its fullest speed. If that’s not an indication of a quality product, I’m not sure what is. And let’s not forget that the Aura is always a performance beast. I literally can’t describe how powerful this fan feels, all stuff from the past that we’ll probably never see again. I love myself a good Aura, but this one is just special to me and I can’t deny it. I also did a couple extra tweaks on the audio, it’s still not the best but better than before.
