Building an Escape Room-In-A-Box - Part One
This is the first video in a new "development diary" which is going to document my attempts to (hopefully!) create a portable, modular, electronic Escape Room In-A-Box. This is not intended to be a step-by-step tutorial, but something more like a "fly on the wall" documentary that is a pretty complete, honest portrayal of the approach I take to design and create tech puzzles for escape rooms. I'm not going to filter out the mistakes I make, poor design decisions, and wasted effort I'm inevitably going to suffer from along the way! In this first part, I'll describe a little bit about what my aims for the project are and a first draft at the hardware infrastructure I plan to use. I'll try to post fairly regular, shortish updates, so please follow me if you want to see how the project develops over the next few weeks :) Created with the generous support of my amazing Patreon donors.
