"विनाकारण मराठी आणि जैन वाद निर्माण करू नका. व्यापारी आहात, शांततेत व्यापार करा. वर दिल्लीत दोन गुजराती बसले आहेत म्हणून आपण काहीही करू, अशा भ्रमात राहू नका," अशा कडक शब्दांत राज ठाकरेंनी समज दिली आहे. तसेच मुंबईत ठिकठिकाणी घरांबाहेर मारण्यात येणाऱ्या पांढऱ्या पट्ट्यांवरूनही त्यांनी तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त केली.
