2021 GWM CANNON- Tow Pro Elite V3 DIY installation. Electric trailer brake controller.

Hi guys It was only 1 week before we head off on our trip around Australia. I needed to install an electronic brake controller because I wasn't happy with the trailer mounted unit. I decided to install a redarc tow pro elite v3. I got mine for 275 dollars delivered online. It was going to cost around 550-600 to get it professionally installed so I decided to install it myself. I have never installed an electronic brake controller before but I read the installation instructions and it seemed pretty straight forward. I thought I may aswell record the process so viewers could decide if it was something they wanted to do themselves or have someone else do it based of my experience. Components I used. 1. Tow pro elite v3 brake controller. 2. 1000v 6a diode. 3. 10M of 10 awg twin core cable. 3. 30 amp auto resetting circuit breaker Please like and subscribe if you like our content.
