CBR500R Changing Handlebar Grips

2017 CBR500R A how to/figuring it out video on replacing the stock handle bar grips with after market grips. Sorry the filming sucks, My camera is on it's last leg and I was pretty much figuring this out as I went. I made this video because there is nothing else out there (for these bikes at least) that explains the process. The biggest hiccup is the stock throttle tube because it seems to be molded with the grip from the factory. But with some sanding, you can make it more of a traditional tube that will allow aftermarket grips. Tools needed: New grips Grip glue of your choice. I've used hair spray in the past but the grips always seem to eventually migrate and warp so the choice is yours. Screw driver Wrench/vise grips and some rubbing padding Sander. I don't recommend sanding the throttle tube with a dremel unless you know what you're doing. Dremels move so fast and can easily burn or destroy the plastic.
