In the fourth part of my video series about my campervan tour through Northern France/Normandy, I'm exploring the Cotentin Peninsula. The Norman Cotentin is a precursor to Brittany, with its storm-lashed headlands, oyster beds, and lobster fishermen. Here you'll also find breathtaking views and numerous beaches, some practically deserted. I visit the fishing village of Barfleur, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and then continue on to the western coast of the peninsula to Gouville-sur-Mer. The town and the surrounding area are famous for their oyster fishermen and the colorful bathing huts of Gouville.
