"How Insensitive" Chord Melody Lesson- Bossa Nova

In this lesson I teach a fingerstyle /chord melody arrangement of "How Insensitive" by one of bossa nova's most prolific composers...Tom Jobim! In several interviews, Jobim mentioned his admiration for classical composer Frederic Chopin, so it isn't a coincidence that "How Insensitive" greatly resembles Frederick Chopin's Prelude in E minor for piano. Consequently, before I play my arrangement , in the video I first play the melody of "How Insensitive" over a small portion of Chopin's prelude so you can see how it served as a basis for this composition. If you were not already aware of this, I guarantee that you will gain new insight into Jobim's piece as well as my take on it for solo guitar! *Subscribe for more free jazz guitar lessons:    / @richiezellon   *5 Bossa Nova Comping Patterns:    • 5 Bossa Nova Comping Patterns   *Download Lesson PDF, notation & tabs for this video at: https://jazzguitar.richiezellon.com/p... *Take your playing to the next level with the Bebop Guitar Improv Series online: https://bebopguitar.richiezellon.com
