Costa Rica VLOG - Our First Day At Lands in Love, Animal Shelter and Vegan Resort

Greetings wildlife watchers and animal lovers, welcome back for another Costa Rica adventure VLOG! In today's video we're waking up in Lands in Love Resort, a fully vegan experience located in the rolling hills of northern Costa Rica. Lands in Love Resort is very unique because it has an adjoining animal shelter home to 1400+ animal rescues. A portion of the hotel and activity center proceeds goes towards the shelter, helping them afford food and proper medical care to all the animals. This place was started by a group is Israeli immigrants who moved to Costa Rica with their many animals. The group launched their own tour operator that designs custom itineraries for all types of travelers, and eventually they built their very own hotel, calling it Lands in Love. The Lands in Love team are huge animals lovers and surrounding communities quickly learned that they couldn't refuse taking in outside animals in need. Animal rescues were starting to show up monthly, then weekly, then daily to the point where they had to create a fully operational animal rescue center. The hotel and animal shelter now work together to give visitors a unique animal-filled experience. The animal rescue center, called Animal Love, relies heavily on outside donations to remain operational. I encourage you to make a small donation to their animal shelter if you can.
