Mack MR - Leach 2RIII Garbage Truck feat. Cushman Carts (+Residential & Commercial Collection)

One of my favorite things about living on the West Coast is the massively wide variety of waste collection methods that are employed in this region. Today's video showcases one of my favorite systems I've ever had the chance to see in person! Here we have a rare combo for the Pacific Northwest - a Mack MR cab and chassis with a Leach 2RIII rear load body; a pairing which looks particularly sharp in Rubatino's red and white paint scheme! As is shown in the video, the truck handles collection from a mix of carts, dumpsters, and personal cans along the main roads and alleyways, while a fleet of small Cushman Cart scooters handles backdoor collection from homes along the side streets and more difficult to access areas. Once these little satellite scooters fill up, they meet up with and empty into the main truck! This system was so much fun to watch, garbage day truly is an event in these neighborhoods with action constantly going on all around! I hope you all enjoy watching this as much as I did!
