The Pilot XTSP is a self-propelled leaf and lawn vacuum that vacuums, mulches / shreds, and pushes the material into DR’s direct bagging system. Each bag is capable of holding up to 50 lbs of materials. The leaf and lawn vacuum comes equipped with: 4.3 HP (173 cc) DR OHV Engine with electric start (recoil backup), Uses standard paper leaf bags and a leaf bag caddie capable of holding up to 10 bags. There is an onboard chipper: handles sticks and branches up to 1.5” in diameter. The front end of the leaf vacuum has an Intake height: 1” to 4”. The pilot xtsp shreds leaves down to size which in return allows you to save a lot of space when gathering and throwing away the mulched materials. The biggest benefit that I found was the time savings. Jobs that took 3 hours without using a leaf vacuum are now taking 45 minutes from start to finish.
