Wakura Youth Soccer Tournament in Kanazawa August 6th (Thu) - 10th (Mon), 2026 This is the pinnacle of the Ishikawa Prefecture Youth Soccer Festival, a highly anticipated tournament bringing together top high school soccer teams from across Japan. Originally held in 1983 as the "Kanazawa Festival" with the aim of strengthening high school soccer in Ishikawa Prefecture, it was renamed the "Ishikawa Prefecture Youth Soccer Festival" in 1987. Many players across Japan have gone on to become top players representing Japan after gaining experience in this tournament.
