Raising the Digital Dead Ep. 1 - The Sol Prototype
#tech #computer #retro The saga begins! Raising the Digital Dead is our new series, in which I will resurrect long forgotten digital projects and devices from yesteryear. In this first episode I embark on a project not for the faint if heart - replicating the Sol Intelligent Terminal by Processor Technology, an Intel 8080 based 'smart' terminal that was the prototype of the legendary Sol-20 Terminal Computer. Am I in over my head? This video gives a background to the project, with future installments to detail the build.
