I love love love these two so much. I feel like I may have been the only person that wasn't upset by Fitz's absence in s7 (I don't like his character these days as much as I used to, and I also wanted Simmons to have more bonding moments with other characters - I'd wanted more Daisy/Simmons friendship scenes but hey, I got Deke!) I also really really love Deke and I hate how much hate he gets from the fandom and the characters. He was EXCELLENT in s7 and he's such a genuinely lovely and loyal character. I really enjoyed their bond - I didn't want to make a FitzSimmons + Deke video as I don't really like the interactions between Fitz and Deke. It's so funny that in the beginning of s5, he had absolutely no interest in Simmons' fate other than ensuring the SHIELD team didn't cause ripples for his world, and by s7, he would have done anything for her. Love and miss this lil grandmother/grandson duo.
