At the Mainland Affairs Council's regular press conference on the 23rd, when asked about this, Vice Chairman Liang Wen-chieh responded, "Their live-fire exercises will mainly take place near Dongshan Island, so the impact on us is currently not significant. However, the Ministry of National Defense and the Coast Guard Administration are monitoring the entire process." Liang Wen-chieh also stated that China's gray-area intrusions into Taiwan will increase in the future, posing a significant challenge to the Coast Guard Administration and the national armed forces.
