First Time Alone in the Florida Backcounty | Primitive Camping
I spent 72 hours alone in the Florida backcountry on my first primitive camping trip—no plan, no distractions, just me and the wild. To see if I could do it, and to prove to myself that I didn't need anyone else to come along with me. This is Part 1 of a backcountry series where I step outside my comfort zone, build camp from scratch, and begin exploring a place that is close to home, yet still true, Florida Scrub Country.. This trip is a test run for a future Everglades expedition, and a return to something simpler—fishing, fire, and time spent in nature.
