Where Are the Biggest Bass? ChatterBait Only

I went bass fishing with one goal: answer one of the biggest questions in bass fishing… where are the biggest bass during the summer, shallow or deep? To find out, I committed to throwing ChatterBaits all day and put myself through a tournament against myself, building one five-fish limit fishing shallow cover and another fishing offshore structure, grass, and deeper water. Shallow ChatterBait fishing has become one of my biggest confidence techniques, but fishing one offshore is still something I’m trying to learn. Could the biggest bass really be living out deep, or are they still hiding along the bank?
