Our First Day in Samal - How is Adaptation going?

Our very first morning on Samal Island 🌴 We woke up in our new home and started building our life from scratch — setting up the house, organizing our space, and making it truly feel like home. This day was full of simple but special moments: discovering the area, finding everything we need, and slowly creating our own cosiness here. Our neighbor Rahani showed us a hidden shortcut to the beach, and we walked there for the first time — just minutes from our house. It already feels like a dream. The kids made new friends right away — Misha and Kostya met Rahani’s daughter Hanna, and together they spent the day climbing trees, playing, laughing, and just being kids. We also enjoyed the things we missed so much: Filipino street snacks, fried bananas, sweet potatoes, local drinks, and delicious traditional food.
