Lake Skadar National Park | Boat Ride on the Balkans' Largest Lake

Spending the day on #LakeSkadar was our FAVORITE thing that we did while in #Montenegro. Lake Skadar National Park is the largest lake in the #Balkans, and it's actually on the border of Montenegro and Albania. We were on the Montenegrin side, and saw some absolutely incredible sights! We arranged for a boat ride/tour with Boat Milica, an awesome boating company who we'll link to below. The boat ride started in the small fishing village of Virpazar, and took as all over the lake to see the most beautiful and scenic parts. We even saw two endangered pelicans! Overall, we highly recommend Lake Skadar National Park to anyone going to the Balkans! Definitely arrange for a boat ride or kayak rentals ahead of time so you can spend some time on the waters.
