Fast überfahren! Mein Horror Moment beim Sturm Yoshuar:-(

There are situations in our water sport that are incredibly dangerous, and you never want to get into them! Being run over by a motorboat is one of them. But let's start from the beginning. For a week, it had been clear that a massive stormy weekend was coming. Storm Yoshuar was forecast to bring freezing cold and winds of up to 40 knots. Since I'm currently on a speed trip with my wing gear, these were ideal days :-) On the second speed day, the moment finally arrived. I turned into the so-called Sligshot near the shore of Lake Cospuden, completely falling off, tightened the Vayu X Race Wing, and actually reached 42 km/h. My new personal best. But the immense joy didn't last long. On the very next run, and as I checked my watch, it happened. I missed the Cossi's motorboat. Luckily, the captain honked again before I could have gone under the bow. There was only a meter between me and the boat.
