These original examples have been seen fetching between 800-1800 on the used market with asking prices of up to $2500! It is no wonder Squier reissued these in 2021 under the paranormal series. The new sparkle blue finish appealed to me - however, I was excited to see that Fender Japan also decided to show love to the Super-Sonic and reissue them under the Fender branding with higher quality parts and better specs!
