Fundada en 1660, la empresa aún operativa más antigua de Venezuela. Uno de los mejores cacaos del mundo se producen en este valle poblado de negros nativos descendientes de esclavos desde hace casi 400 años. Durante más de 400 años, la Hacienda Chuao se ha mantenido productiva de manera continua, conservando su tradicional forma de producción con infraestructura heredada de la colonia, como el antiguo piso de secado, su sistema de riego y las mismas especies de árboles utilizadas para dar sombra a las plantaciones. El Cacao de Chuao tiene un aroma único y especial. Founded in 1660, the oldest still operating company in Venezuela. One of the best cocoas in the world is produced in this valley populated by native black descendants of slaves for almost 400 years. For more than 400 years, the Chuao Hacienda has remained productive continuously, preserving its traditional way of production with infrastructure inherited from the colony, such as the old drying floor, its irrigation system and the same species of trees used to give Shade the plantations. Chuao Cocoa has a unique and special aroma.
