[first playthrough] i know how persona 3 ends, but not why it matters

I've somehow managed to avoid playing Persona 3 for years... despite already knowing how it ends. What I don't know is why that ending means so much to so many people. This is my first time experiencing Persona 3 Reload, and I'm excited to finally understand the journey behind one of gaming's most talked-about stories.
