Bonrix OMNI Soundbox – Static & Dynamic QR Payment Terminal for Smart Retail Payment Collection Bonrix Software Systems, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, introduces a new smart retail payment platform: Bonrix OMNI Soundbox, a powerful Static and Dynamic QR Code Payment Terminal designed for BHIM UPI payment collection at retail stores. The Bonrix OMNI Soundbox platform is powered by a 10.1-inch L-shaped Android tabletop tablet device with WiFi and 4G connectivity. It runs an advanced Android application connected with a centralized TMS (Terminal Management System) and Cloud MQTT Server, creating a reliable, scalable, and remotely manageable payment collection network for retail businesses. Unlike traditional soundboxes used by Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, or other payment providers, the Bonrix OMNI Soundbox is designed to work both as a Static QR Soundbox and as a Dynamic QR Code BHIM UPI Collection Terminal. Inspired by the NPCI OMNI concept, this platform supports the idea of a single soundbox device that can work with multiple BHIM UPI QR code service providers and payment notification systems. This means retailers are not limited to only one payment gateway or one QR provider. The Bonrix OMNI Soundbox platform can be configured to work with the retailer’s preferred payment gateway service provider. It can also support more than one BHIM UPI Dynamic QR service provider at the same time, making it a flexible and future-ready solution for digital payment collection. A normal soundbox generally works only as a payment notification device. It cannot connect directly with billing software. In a retail store, when a bill is generated, the customer should ideally see a QR code for the exact bill amount. Once the payment is completed, the transaction should be automatically reconciled and updated in the billing software with the transaction ID or bank reference ID. Traditional soundboxes usually cannot complete this full billing-to-payment-to-reconciliation cycle. Bonrix OMNI Soundbox solves this limitation. The Bonrix OMNI Soundbox App Platform can connect with almost any billing software through Local LAN WiFi HTTP API, USB Serial command, or other supported integration methods. When the billing software generates a bill, the exact payment amount can be sent to the OMNI Soundbox device. The device displays the Dynamic QR Code to the customer. After successful payment, the confirmation travels back from the centralized TMS system to the OMNI Soundbox and finally to the billing software. This allows the billing system to update the payment status automatically with transaction details. Apart from billing software connectivity, the platform also supports multiple direct payment input options. Retailers can send the bill amount or QR payment collection amount through a Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth remote control, a billing app, or a payment collection app installed on an Android mobile handset. This makes the device useful even in stores where full POS integration is not immediately available. The Bonrix OMNI Soundbox platform is not only a payment device. Its large 10.1-inch display can also be used for digital advertisement and customer engagement. Retailers can push promotional videos, images, offers, and audio-visual advertisements to the device from the centralized system. Because of its large and attractive customer-facing screen, the device becomes a powerful in-store marketing display at the billing counter. In retail POS environments, the same display can also work as a customer-facing secondary display. As soon as items are added to the cart in the billing software, the customer can view the cart list, item quantity, amount, subtotal, tax, discount, and final payable amount.
