The Cost to Ski for 2 Days in the French Alps | The price of skiing in Chamonix, France [4K]

What an incredible first time experience skiing in Chamonix, the French Alps! This was the perfect 2-day trip to spend with friends and celebrate my 31st birthday in one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen in France! Breakdown of Expenses (watch the full video to see all the prices) TRAVEL: The cheapest way to travel from Paris to Chamonix is by rideshare. Whether you have a car and travel with friends, or you hitch a ride from someone else using Blabla car, this will be the quickest, most efficient, and CHEAPEST way to get there! HOUSING: Airbnb offers many "chalets" or little cabin style apartments to rent during your time visiting the Alps. We found an apartment in "Chamonix Sud" which seems to have the best prices with very similar apartments throughout that can host up to 5 people relatively comfortably! RENTALS: In most towns you can find rental equipment, but I highly suggest getting your rentals from Chamonix Centre, because you will find the most competitive prices there! LIFT TICKETS: You have the option of buying lift tickets at the location, or online. The best prices can be found online at () ...you can find half-day, full-day, multiple days, or even seasonal passes depending on how long you plan to stay in Chamonix :). FOOD/DRINKS: In central Chamonix, be prepared for average/expensive prices for meals at restaurants. I would consider it very similar to the prices of certain restaurants in Paris. I highly recommend bringing sandwiches for lunch on a day you plan to ski all-day...otherwise find a lunch from a boulangerie (bakery) or supermarket at the bottom of the slope, and NOT ON THE MOUNTAIN if you're on a budget, because those are the most expensive meals you'll see in the region! This ended up being a super fast trip and I wish I had more time (and money) to stay a full week in Cham!
