My first day in Chennai - Walking from Airport to the Hostel

Welcome to Chennai, Tamil Nadu! This video captures my first impressions of this vibrant city. My Chennai journey started at the Chennai International Airport, and wow, the heat was noticeable right away! Following my hostel owner's advice, I hopped on the metro from the airport. He said my hostel was a quick 15-minute walk from the Ekkathuthangal Metro station. Navigating the metro was a little tricky since most people here speak Tamil, but it wasn't as hard as I thought. Stepping out onto the Chennai streets, I was immediately struck by the city's energy and the busy pace of daily life. I stumbled upon a street coffee shop and had to try the famous South Indian coffee. Unfortunately, I think I got overcharged – 50 rupees! I later found out it should have been less. Despite the language barrier, the people in Chennai are friendly. I finally reached Hostel Gandhi and settled in.
