Church members are sometimes arrested, despite legal protections that should allow Christians freedom to worship. Dao dreamed of finding some safety even in this dangerous environment and so she got married and had a child. But her husband began taking drugs, and became abusive. Dao, with her daughter and mother, had to escape and begin a new life.
