Guru Gobind Singh ji founded the Sikh warrior community called Khalsa and has also written several hymns including Jaap Sahib, Chandi di Var, Tav-Prasad Savaiye, Zafarnamah, Bachittar Natak, Akal Ustat and Chaupai Sahib. Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji finalized and enshrined Shri Guru Granth Sahib as Sikhism's primary scripture and perpetual Guru of the Sikhs.
