CMH Next: Meet our Chief Planning & Engineering Officer
First look inside our new terminal. Tom McCarthy, our Chief Planning and Engineering Officer, has spent 35 years designing airport terminals — and the last four and a half on ours. In this interview, he walks through what makes the new CMH terminal different: a central market concept that's fairly new to the industry, an intentional design choice to preserve the short walk from car to gate that travelers love about CMH today, and what it felt like to step inside the space for the first time now that the structure is rising. Behind him is an 11-person team of architects, civil and structural engineers, and construction managers delivering this project day to day. Learn more about the project at cmhnext.com.
