Key points for caliper service: 1. Remove the blunt hose ring from the hose, 2. Grease the caliper piston seal and wash it thoroughly, 3. Replace the inner tapered seal, 4. Clean the seal groove on the caliper until there's no buildup, 5. Use water and detergent, 6. Don't bleed air through the bleeder until the fine bubbles have drained from the master cylinder. 7. This trick always works; be patient; don't bleed through the caliper, as it can create air.
