歌舞伎公演前に 市川染五郎さんが徳川家ゆかりの寺へ

Ichikawa Somegoro, who will be playing the role of Tokugawa Nobuyasu in a kabuki play in June, visited a temple in Hamamatsu City. On the 13th, kabuki actor Ichikawa Somegoro visited Seiryakuji Temple in Tenryu Ward. Seiryakuji Temple enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu's eldest son, Nobuyasu. Before playing Nobuyasu in a play at the Kabuki-za Theater in Tokyo in June, Somegoro visited the temple and quietly prayed at its grave. A memorial service was held afterward, during which Somegoro reflected on the young warrior who was ordered to commit seppuku by his father, Ieyasu, and met an untimely death at the age of 21. Ichikawa Somegoro "I believe it was an era in which people had to live with a level of resolve that is unimaginable for those of us living today. I'm very happy to have had the opportunity to experience Nobuyasu's strength firsthand." Somegoro said he was glad he was able to visit before the performance. #Kabuki #Ichikawa Somegoro #Tokugawa
