What is it like to live with schizophrenia? Is it possible to lead a normal life? Today I bring you a special video. It's not your typical short video, but an interview—a different format than what we're used to, and one we're sure you'll really enjoy ;-) Today we have with us Mateo Guardaroni @soycomoelaire. He's 27 years old and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia since he was 17. Through his YouTube channel, he strives to destigmatize this illness and give hope to others who may be going through something similar. As he always emphasizes, Mateo isn't a psychologist, psychiatrist, or occupational therapist, but perhaps that's precisely why his story is even more valuable for people experiencing this, who probably already have the opportunity to talk to professionals but not so much to other patients in similar situations.
