What DSDS contestant Amadeus Soszka says sounds quite promising at first: His father is an opera singer, he himself also has stage experience, and he will soon begin music and acting training. In fact, the 20-year-old's performance becomes unforgettable for the jury – but not in the way they expected. Just a few seconds after Amadeus begins his performance of Eduardo Di Capua's "O Sole Mio," Dieter Bohlen interrupts him. "I just don't get anything out of this song. When the Italians sing it, it always warms your heart." Amadeus, however, is determined to convince the jury of his talent. "Please let me continue singing, and then you'll feel warmer inside," the DSDS contestant says. "I'd have to pour tea over my head to feel any warmth," Dieter replies, initially unmoved. Amadeus persists, though, and gets a second chance. But even with "Die Forelle" by Franz Schubert, he can't win over the jury. In their opinion, his singing lacks feeling and his stage presence is too "inhibited." The aspiring superstar refuses to accept this and is determined to convince the jury. Even when Dieter Bohlen and the others become increasingly critical and repeatedly ask Amadeus to leave, he doesn't give up. The DSDS contestant argues with the jury for a full 30 minutes, pleading with them to let him continue. "No, no, no, no, no…" Dieter Bohlen almost breaks the record for repeated "no"s, while new judges Carolin Niemczyk and Ella Endlich are starting to get scared.
