Is This Australia’s Most Iconic Landmark? Visiting Uluru
The Magic of ULURU ✨ | Family Road Trip Through Central Australia WEEK 16 #Uluru #OutbackAustralia #KataTjuta We acknowledge that this video was filmed and photographed on First Nations Country, including places of deep spiritual and cultural significance to the Anangu Traditional Owners. Our family visited with respect and followed local guidance, cultural signage and photography restrictions where required. If we have unintentionally mispronounced names or misunderstood cultural information, it was never our intention to offend or disrespect. We are continually learning and encourage all visitors to respectfully engage with Indigenous cultures, sacred places and Traditional Custodians when travelling through Australia. Welcome to Week 16 of our Big Lap around Australia as we journey through the heart of Central Australia to Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Northern Territory! 🧡 This week we travel through the Australian Outback, stopping at remote roadhouses, crossing the South Australia / Northern Territory border, visiting Erldunda Roadhouse, spotting emus, exploring Curtin Springs, and trying the unique handmade paper-making experience using native desert grasses. Then comes the moment we’ve been waiting for — arriving at the breathtaking Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. We experience incredible desert sunsets, sunrise colours over Uluru, visit Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), see ancient rock art, learn about Anangu culture, try educational cultural experiences, and explore one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks. From red dirt roads and remote travel challenges to bucket-list experiences and homeschooling on the road, this episode is packed with adventure, learning and unforgettable memories. Please always: ✔ Respect cultural signage ✔ Follow photography restrictions ✔ Stay on marked paths ✔ Respect sacred sites and restricted areas ✔ Listen to Traditional Owner guidance 🐾 Did you spot the animal in this episode?
