Sigma Service Elevator | Epicon BSD Tangerang, ID

An early Sigma Iris NV elevator, located in a unique "castle" in the newer town of BSD City which was formerly some sort of an educational center before it closed down and was recently repurposed into a community center (renovation work was still ongoing at time of visit). This is the service/fireman elevator which look a bit undermaintained and slightly creepy. The only thing that makes it interesting is the fact that it uses European floor numbering which is kinda unusual in Indonesia. In this case, the basement is denoted with a minus (-) and the ground floor as zero (0). The main passenger elevators weren't working because they had just been extended upward to the rooftop and weren't ready yet; previously they only served until the 7th floor. You can see the comparison of it from a Google Street View imagery from July 2024 and my own photo that I took in April 2025. I think they simply "moved" the existing machine room upward and didn't replace the elevators, probably in the same way as the parking elevators at Living World Alam Sutera. There were various elevator parts for those elevators found on the top floor, including a new duplex type LOP in a box.
