With all due respect, I don't need advice from people who apply different standards depending on who's speaking. When others talk disrespectfully or make derogatory comments about me, it often gets overlooked. But when I defend myself, suddenly I'm the one being criticized and told how to respond. Accountability should be consistent. If you're going to call out my behavior, then be willing to address theirs too. At the end of the day, you don't know me personally, so please don't make assumptions about my character or intentions.
