Super Star De Ouidah Dahomey Gan Gbakoun Badejo's Sound Studios BBAF 331-B Release year unknown (Nigeria) Nice early 60s (to my ears) sounding tracks from this group from Ouidah in present-day Benin. I prefer slightly higher-energy stuff when I listen to African music but every now and then something to sooth the nerves is just what I need to hear. If anyone has any information on the group or release year please let me know! As is the case with many records from Africa, this 45 is in pretty rough shape, so I apologize for any dips in sound quality. I do not own any copyright to the song and am uploading it for archival purposes only. Audio and photo taken from my original 45.
